East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health is offering free access to Scottish Mental Health First Aid training (SMHFA) to local residents of East Dunbartonshire.

The courses will be delivered over 2 days and train people to recognise someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem, and how to offer them assistance. 

The free certificated courses will be delivered in local venues within East Dunbartonshire on:

Aimed at treasurers of small charities and voluntary groups/ organisations, people who are considering being treasurers, and other trustees/committee members who might have to look after the money because no-one else can be found to do it!

Ceartas are hosting a day’s training on “Dealing with Conflict”. The training will be facilitated by Charlotte Lee of CSL Consultancy (www.cslconsultancy.net).

The day will cover conflict resolution, attitudes to conflict, conflict management, triggers for conflict, assertive communication and ways of working to get the best for your client. (programme will be available shortly).
