Community Planning, in its simplest terms, is all about local organisations coming together to plan and provide for the wellbeing of their communities.
It is about delivering improved public services through working together and sharing resources, such as staff time or budgets, for the benefit of all communities across East Dunbartonshire. Most importantly it is about ensuring that local people are able to influence the decisions of the organisations that provide their services.
EDCVS sit on the Community Planning Board to represent the views of the Voluntary Sector and Social Economy. If there are any issues you wish us to raise through Community Planning please contact gilbert.grieve@eastdunbartonshirecvs.org.uk
