Research perspectives on the citizenship and human rights of people with learning disabilities

The Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability, in collaboration with the Open University and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (IRISS), is organising a one day conference to reflect upon the contributions and participation of people with learning disabilities within our society.
The conference affords a unique opportunity in Scotland for anyone with a personal or professional interest in issues affecting people with learning disabilities to come together, share ideas and hear of the latest research in the field will also consider the setting up of a research network for Scotland
The conference will be chaired by Professor Alison Petch, Director of IRISS. It will bring together keynote speakers and workshop presenters of national and international reputation.
