What is the PPF?
(Public Partnership Forum)
The PPF, part of the CHP, is a representative group of local people who have an interest in improving and developing NHS services.
The group meets regularly to review and be consulted on current services and developments
within the NHS.
What is the CHP?
(East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership)
The CHP manages local NHS services and encourages community participation via the PPF.
Our Priorities are:-
1) Community Engagement
Informing and seeking the views of individuals and groups on local health issues.
2) Community Need
Identifying local health issues and concerns.
3) Access
Overcoming barriers for local people to access information and services.
4) Dementia
Preparing to cope with the growth of Dementia.

Public involvement is essential for the successful local development of the PPF. Local people becoming involved in reviewing and advising on the plans, enables the CHP, to be more publically accountable. The PPF provides local people
with an opportunity to become involved in shaping and developing their local health service
