What is the Public Partnership Forum (PPF)?
- The Public Partnership Forum is a network, of existing local voluntary groups, and interested health service users, carers and members of the public.
Who is it for?
- Everyone across East Dunbartonshire
What does the PPF do?
- Supports and assists the East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership to inform local people on the range and location of health services across East Dunbartonshire.
- Ensures local health service users are provided with the opportunity to comment and take part in discussions that concern present and future health care services across East Dunbartonshire.
- Encourages and supports wider public involvement within the planning and decisions of the East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership.

How does the PPF do this?
By Communication
- The PPF Executive Group is made up with an ‘Executive Group’ of up to 25 members. It is hoped to reach out, to develop a virtual group that will not only receive information on a regular basis, but will be able to raise matters of concern thought the Executive Group meetings.
- The PPF has 2 representatives on the CHP Committee
and also sub groups of the CHP
- The PPF meets once a month at different locations across East Dunbartonshire
- The PPF attend local community events, open days etc.

How do you get involved in the PPF?
- Join the PPF, attend meetings
- Receive PPF minutes, Newsletters.
- Attend local events and promote the PPF.

Public involvement is essential for the successful local development of the PPF. Local people becoming involved in reviewing and advising on the plans, enables the CHP, to be more publically accountable. The PPF provides local people
with an opportunity to become involved in shaping and developing their local health service.
