Funding Advice

We will help groups to identify suitable funding for their activities, using our searchable database of trust funds and grant-making bodies and our reference library of funding information.

Constitution Health Checks

An out-of-date or unsuitable constitution will almost certainly cause a funding application to fail. We will review your constitution to ensure that it reflects what the group currently aims to do.

One-to-one Support

Some groups ask for our support throughout the funding process; some ask only for information to get them started; others use us to proof read the final draft of their application to ensure that it is clear to someone not intimately involved with this project. We will work with groups on whatever basis they request.

Funding events

We are working to establish close working relationships with funding bodies and have hosted a variety of events aimed at helping groups make successful applications.

• Briefing sessions and 'formathons' focusing on particular types of grant
• One to one surgeries with grants officers
• Funders information events, with a range of funding bodies represented.
